Saturday Night Live Drawings

As a graphic designer by day - artist by night, Saturday Night Live Drawings began for me simply as practice. Portraits seemed a challenging way for advancement in my art. I knew if I drew people live, it would force me to the next level. Finding people to sit is historically a challenge for artists, as was me, so excuses were a plenty. At one point, I just told myself to stop making excuses and adapt. Just get your pencils and go anywhere, like now! Ironically reflecting that urgency was the end result of me attempting at capturing the instantaneousness of musicians while they play.
